It’s time for wreaths - my holiday favorites
Choosing a wreath (or two or three) as the holidays approach is one of my favorite things to do. From faux Norfolk pine selections on Amazon to personal Etsy favorites like this one with feathery asymmetric harvest touches, ribbon and bells to this orange, eucalyptus and lavender stunner … to the more traditional evergreen and red ribboned ways to celebrate the season - so many choices.
The history of the wreath dates back to the northern and Eastern European 1500s when pruned bits of evergreen were woven into a wreath. But if my Roman Empire of the season are wreaths - turns out the original inspirations all came from the Roman Empire and Ancient Greece before it.
From faux to fabulous - some of our favorite wreaths for 2024 -
This is the top selection of all wreaths right now - pre lit, 24 inches in diameter - with pine cones and red berry clusters.
Also a top selection right now on Amazon - hundreds of people are buying these. If a wreath could be described as large and in charge - it’s this one at 48 inches wide with 250 LED lights.
Also comes with a red hat - one of the most popular wreath trends right now. Didn’t imagine that gnomes everywhere was going to extend to wreaths - but I stand corrected!
Pine cones, lights, a festive arrangement ready for inside or out.
Simple, easy - and the faux Norfolk pine means you can put this up indoors or out and not worry about it drooping or getting brittle.
We ordered this one for the apartment - it’s chic, simple and easy to fill the battery pack. Comes well-packaged and ready to go. Currently hanging over the fireplace.
A stunning pre list snowflake / star wreath to hang inside or outside.
